The History of From The TopFrom The Top was founded in September, 1992 because of a need for an itinerant arts ministry team. From The Top specializes in (French Classical) Mime and (The Wood Method of) Musical Sign Language. Since then From The Top has ministered at the '96 Toronto March for Jesus, Missionfest Toronto '96 and '97, Missionfest Vancouver '97 (workshop), Missionfest Manitoba '98 (and - in a few weeks - '05) and at The Peoples Church in Toronto, and during with International Teams of Canada during the '96 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. Other future missions are also being planned. From The Top and/or Kev Wood have shared the stage with such people as Tony Campolo, Gordon MacDonald, Kenny Marks, Paul Melo, and the dustkickers, and with such Juno Nominees as Mark Masri ('01), Kelita ('01), Deborah Klassen ('00, Winner) and Jon Buller ('00), and others.
